About this dataset
Cloud-filtered Sentinel-2 Level-2A tiles covering the Qatari peninsula and territorial waters, curated monthly by HBKU's earth observation lab. Tiles below a 5% cloud threshold are atmospherically corrected and re-gridded to a national tiling scheme. Includes per-tile quality metadata and scene classification masks.
Usage rights
Open reuse consistent with the Copernicus open data licence, with attribution to HBKU for the curated derivative. Satellite imagery contains no personal data.
Lineage
Derived from ESA Copernicus Sentinel-2 L2A products, filtered for cloud cover, clipped to the national grid, and validated against ground control points maintained by HBKU.
